  • Fire resistance

    The structure frames have been designed in keeping with CSN 73 0802 Fire safety of buildings – Non-industrial buildings and CSN 73 0833 Fire safety of buildings – Homes and building providing accommodation, Group OB 1. building and CSN 73 0810 Fire safety of buildings – Joint provisions.

    The construction fire safety design is an inseparable part of every IRON HOUSES project.

  • Acoustics, noise protection

    The IH structure frames which are subject to noise protection requirements posses values significantly lower than those recommended by the CSN 73 0532 – Noise protection in buildings and evaluation of acoustic characteristics of construction products – Requirements.

    Selected minimum noise insulation requirements:

    • Rw=42 dB between the individual apartment rooms
    • Rw=48 dB for cladding of buildings in which habitable rooms are located with maximum level of acoustic pressure of 80 dB

    The actual IH system values are:

    • Rw=46 dB between the individual apartment rooms
    • Rw=50 dB for cladding of buildings in which habitable rooms are located with aximum level of acoustic pressure of 80 dB
  • Energy saving and heat protection

    The IH system structure frames which are subject to requirements for heat protection of buildings possess values significantly lower than those recommended by the current CSN 73 0540-2 Heat protection of buildings – Section 2: Requirements.

    Selected recommended values designated by the aforementioned norm:

    U = 0,20 W/m2K for exterior walls

    U = 0,20 W/m2K for ceilings placed under unheated attics

    U = 0,30 W/m2K for floors of heated rooms located on top of soil

    The actual values of the IH system:

    U = 0,1 W/m2K for external wall

    U = 0,12 W/m2K for ceiling under an unheated attic

    U = 0,2 W/m2K for the heated floor adjacent to the ground
